David Shrier, Host
David Shrier is a global authority on disruptive technologies like AI and web3 . He has led more than $10 billion of strategic growth initiatives for global 2000 companies as well as an oversubscribed IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. Through Visionary Future, he has been a prolific angel investor.
He is also a driver of academic innovation, currently organizing 3,000 AI researchers across Imperial College, MIT, Oxford and University of Edinburgh around ‘Trusted AI’ after having delivered more than $1 billion of financial support to MIT, Harvard and Oxford previously. David holds an appointment as Professor of Practice, AI and Innovation with Imperial College Business School, subsequent to his dual appointment at MIT and University of Oxford.
A respected author and thought leader, his 9th book being published in January 2024 from Harvard Business Publishing and Little Brown is Basic AI: A Human Guide to Artificial Intelligence.
